Mrs. Maryam Rajavi’s Nowruz message: The Iranian people and resistance will wipe away obsolescence and darkness of velayat-e faqih system from Iran

Through 5700 protest moves in the past year, the Iranian people reiterated on the negation of mullahs’ regime in its entirety
Mrs. Maryam Rajavi , President-elect of the Iranian Resistance, congratulated the Iranian people on the occasion of spring and the Iranian New Year wishing them a year full of success against the ruling religious fascism. She noted: Surely, it will not be long before obsolescence and darkness of velayat-e faqih system will be wiped away from Iran and the spring of freedom, popular sovereignty, equality and justice will prevail.
Rajavi said: For 37 years, through torture and massacre, mullahs have taken hostage the real Nowruz of the Iranian people, but despite the raining down of executions, arrests and persistent terror during these years, the Iranian people have not surrendered. They have persistently demonstrated their will to overthrow this regime. In the past year, through 5700 strikes, sit-ins and protests, including protests by teachers and nurses, by factory workers in various industries, by people of Esfahan against splashing of acid on women, by people of Ahwaz against the drying up of Karun River, by people against the catastrophic state of air pollution in various cities,  , the Iranian people have continued to emphasize on the negation of the regime in its entirety. During the Fire Festival the youth in Tehran and Esfahan set pictures of Khomeini and Khamenei on fire and political prisoners in Gohardasht Prison chanted “Death to the dictator”.

Bandar Abbas: The huge crowd for holding Feast of Fire ceremony in front of security forces

In spite of warnings and threatens by the suppressive state security forces to prevent the people from taking part in the feast of fire ceremony, a huge crowd of people and the youth in Bandar-abbas were not intimidated and the sound of firecrackers and sound bombs filled the air. Some of the areas where reports have indicated of ceremonies are: Seyed Kamal, southern and northern Resalat and Bahman 22nd streets.

A woman was assaulted and harassed by security forces in Farah-zad Street, Tehran, according to a recently received video clip from Iran. The video shows a young woman running an couple of security forces are chasing her until she stops and the security forces brutally harass and treat her roughly pushing her inside a vehicle and taking her away. People who are watching the scene are shouting anti-government slogans and try to rescue her, but she is finally taken away.

Reports from Iran, as its coming following a jubilant and active night of celebration on the traditional Fire Festival, indicates that youth and residents of Davaran St. in Arak, central Iran, clashed with state security forces as they attacked the revelers on the street. The youth in response used their firecrackers and bonfires and blowing up sound bombs to confront the guards. When residents went to help the youth in their scuffle with the police, they close the street, setting tires and trash bins on fire. People also threw bonfires and sound grenades from the balconies forcing the riot police to back off.

Clashed have been reported between the youth and the state security forces who tried to prevent the people from celebrating the feast of fire. The youth attacked a vehicle belonging to the security forces setting the car on fire. 
Today, Tuesday, March 17, 2015 Ahwaz was hosting a football match between the Foulad from Khouzestan and Al-Helal from Saudi Arabia. When the match was over, Ahwazi youth in protest to a self-immolation of one of their fellow countrymen who had set himself alight to protest his disastrous economic situation and extreme poverty, protested and clashed with the suppressive state security guards.

In Tehran in Tehranpars Falakeh numbers one and two, around Haft Hoz, at Sarsabz Narmak intersection, in Ariashahr (Sadeqiyah), Sa’adatabad, alleys in the vicinity of Shariati and Bahar streets, under the Hafez Bridge, in Nav’vab, Beryanak, Pirouzi, Parastar and in Jolfa district near Mohseni Square people held the Fire Festival and after darkness set in one could constantly hear the noise of fire crackers and sound grenades. At Tajrish Square toward Mirdamad, herds of suppressive forces are conducting patrols and setting up check points.
In the city of Bushehr at the bazaar, in district 22nd of Bahman in Bandar Abbas, and at various places in Langeroud, people also held the Fire Festival.

Tehran: Sixty people arrested at a party during a raid

State Security Forces, SSF have arrested at least 60 men and women during a raid at a party west of capital Tehran on Friday.
A group of 40 men and 20 women were arrested at a party in Tehransar, a neighborhood in western Tehran, following a raid on the party that was being held in a sports club, state-run DefaPress reported.
“In the party which was held in a sports club advanced lighting equipment were used,” Samad Assadi, the commander of Tehransar police said.
The raid was carried out after information were provided on the party by the intelligence of Basij, the paramilitary repressive force of the Iranian regime’s Revolutionary Guards (IRGC), the report said.

Rain couldn’t prevent people to celebrate the Fire Festival in Shiraz

In was raining in Shiraz tonight, Tuesday, March 17 but even rain didn’t stop people from going out onto the streets and celebrating the Fire Festival. Celebrations, jubilations and the sound of crackers, the light of bonfires and the roar of rockets filled the air while rain was slowly purring down. 
Areas including Chamran and Hafiziah were busier than other places. Other parts of the city were scene of blowing up sound bombs and squibs. People were in the streets until late hours of night
