Prohibiting Fire Festival and calling
this ceremony “religiously forbidden” while adopting extensive military and
security provisions
The anti-Iranian mullahs’ regime that
is fearful of the Fire Festival turning into a popular uprising against the
ruling religious fascism, has resorted to extensive military and security
provisions in various parts of the country, especially in Tehran.
In this respect, Mullah Ahmad
Khatami, member of the Assembly of Experts, speaking at Tehran’s Friday prayer
on the traditional ceremony of Chaharshanbe Suri (The Fire Festival on the eve
of the last Wednesday before Nowruz ), said: “From a legal viewpoint, these
fire plays are a transgression on others’ rights.
