Tehran: Construction workers’ protest

A number of construction workers of a residential complex in Daghayeghi Shiyan Town protested on Saturday Feb. 28th at unpaid salaries and demands and poor living condition. They said that they lack proper working standards which could endanger their life. The contractor who hires these workers is Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC). The IRGC is known for using heavy hands and military influence to advance its plans.

A deprived street boy with a bag on his back was passing through Jomhouri Street at Hafiz intersection on Thursday Feb. 26th searching for and collecting remains of foodstuff inside the trash bins. As he tried to walk passed a suppressive plain cloth agent’s car, the agent harassed and stopped him searching his bag and pushing the poor kid around making a mockery of him. This sparked anger among the pedestrians witnessing the incident.

U.N. nuclear watchdog says Iran still withholding key information

Vienna (Reuters) 3/2/2015 - The head of the United Nations ’ nuclear watchdog said on Monday Iran had still not handed over key information to his staff, and his body’s investigation into Tehran’s atomic program could not continue indefinitely.
'Iran has yet to provide explanations that enable the agency to clarify two outstanding practical measures,' Chief Yukiya Amano told the body’s Board of Governors in Vienna, echoing a report seen by Reuters last month.

Iran: %30 of the country’s jobless population are university graduates

ullah Rouhani’s deputy minister of SocialAffairs acknowledged that there are 40 million inactive workforces in the country, and %30 of country’s jobless are university graduates. The average jobless graduates are higher than the average jobless population, and the students with Bachelor and Master of Science degree are constantly adding to the country’s workforce.

AfshinBayamani who was transferred to the IRGC ward in Gohar-dasht Prison, Karaj since Jan. 18th, after enduring 40 days of solitary has been returned back this prison on Feb. 28th.

First Iran flight lands in Shiite-held Yemen capital

AFP - 1 March 20 15 - A first Iranian flight landed in the Yemeni capital on Sunday, a day after officials from the Shiite militia-controlled city signed an aviation agreement with Tehran.
Yemen’s official Saba news agency, which is controlled by the Shiite militiamen who overran Sanaa in September, said Mahan Air and Yemenia would each operate 14 weekly flights under the accord.
Western-backed President Abedrabbo Mansour Hadi, who last weekend escaped house arrest by the Huthis in Sanaa, slammed the agreement as 'illegal,' according to an aide.
