German Parliamentary Delegations and Political dignitaries meet Maryam Rajavi in Berlin

The President-elect of the Iranian Resistance, Mrs. Maryam Rajavi , met a number of delegations from the German Parliament (Bundestag) in addition to other political personalities during a trip to Berlin last week.
During the first of a series of such meetings, which took place on Thursday, March 5, Mrs. Rajavi met with the following dignitaries: former President of the Bundestag and Germany’s first-ever female minister, Professor Rita Süssmuth, Ms. Katharina Landgraf, parliamentarian from the Christian Democrat party and Deputy Chair of the Christian Democrat Women’s Group in the Bundestag, Ms. Sylvia Pantel, a Christian Democrat member of the Bundestag, Ms. Rita Pawelski, Chairwoman of the Society of Former Bundestag Members, and Ms. Hille Gosejacob, Honorary Chair of Social Workers’ Syndicate and Chair of the German Committee in Solidarity for a Free Iran.

US Senators condemn Iran imprisoning Pastor Abedini

U.S. Senators at a subcommittee hearing have been told that high-level U.S. attention to Iran’s imprisonment of American Pastor Saeed Abedini is helping to keep him alive, The Associated Press reported.
Abedini has been in custody in Iran since September 2012 and was sentenced to eight years in prison for what was termed undermining state security.

In an interview with French daily Le Figaro, the former head of NATO and the multinational forces in Afghanistan and CIA director, US General David Howell Petraeus warned against the threat posed by the Iranian regime in Iraq.
General Petraeus described the activities of Qassem Suleimani, the head of the Iranian regime’s Quds Force in Iraq, as ‘disturbing.’
