IRAN - Maryam Rajavi addresses French Senate on fundamentalist threat

Mrs. Maryam Rajavi, President-elect of the Iranian Resistance, addressed the French Senate on Tuesday, May 5. She warned that the Iranian regime is the heart of Islamic fundamentalism and to confront the threat of ISIS and other fundamentalist and extremist groups, regime change in Iran is necessary.
In Iraq and Syria, the expulsion of the Iranian regime from those countries is the first step in countering the threat of ISIS and Shiite extremist groups, she said.

IRAN - Prominent anti-government activist arrested

Sattar’s mother and took Ms. Mohammadi
Mothers and families of victims of 2009 uprising gathered Tuesday, May 5, outside the Evin Prison to protest arrest of Narges Mohammadi by Khamenei’s agents.
Mother of Sattar Beheshti, the weblogger who was killed under torture, was with Ms. Mohammadi at the time of her arrest. The agents took both of them towards Evin but abandoned Sattar’s mother and took Ms. Mohammadi with them. Her charges are “propaganda against the regime” and “acting against national security.”
