Mothers and families of victims of 2009 uprising gathered Tuesday, May 5,
outside the Evin Prison to protest arrest of Narges Mohammadi by Khamenei’s
agents.
Mother of Sattar Beheshti, the weblogger who was killed under torture, was
with Ms. Mohammadi at the time of her arrest. The agents took both of them
towards Evin but abandoned Sattar’s mother and took Ms. Mohammadi with them.
Her charges are “propaganda against the regime” and “acting against national
security.”
