IRAN- Maryam Rajavi: Surge in executions shows Iranian regime's fear of outburst of public protests

MARYAM  RAJAVI
NCRI - The Iranian Resistance's President-elect Maryam Rajavi described the unprecedented escalation of arbitrary, mass executions across Iran, as an indication of the ruling regime's despair in the face of irremediable social and political crises, also its fear of broad-based social disconten.
She said: The leaders of Iran’s ruling religious fascism are trying in vain to prevent escalation of popular protests and outpour of public outrage by resorting to ever more brutal repression to prevent the regime’s downfall.Mrs. Rajavi expressed sympathy with the families of the victims, sixteen of whom were executed only yesterday in Qezel-Hessar and Oroumieh prisons. She called on Iran’s brave youths, and public in general, to rise up and aid these families and protest the mullahs’ unbridled barbarism.
