IRAN- PARIS-U.S. policy should include supporting Iranian opposition: Frances Townsend

Frances Townsend
The US administration ought to support the Iranian Resistance to bring about regime change in Iran, former White House policy adviser Frances Townsend said on Saturday.
Frances Townsend, former Homeland Security Advisor to President George W. Bush, was addressing the huge Iran Freedom rally organized each year in Paris.
“Supporting the Iranian Resistance is the missing part of the US administration policy," she said, urging the White House to open dialogue with the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI).
Townsend had co-signed a bi-partisan statement alongside other leading former US officials, saying that in order to stop nuclear proliferation and the spread of Islamic fundamentalism in the Middle East, there should be international support for the Resistance to bring about regime change in Iran.
"Ms. Maryam Rajavi precisely represents the genuine opposition to Iran’s fundamentalist clerics,” she said.

IRAN- PARIS- Maryam Rajavi: The solution to the crisis is eviction of mullahs regime from the whole region by putting an end to it in Iran

Honorable representatives,
Dear sisters and brothers,
I welcome you and salute, through you, all the nations of the Middle East and North Africa; from the beloved Palestine, to Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Tunisia, Yemen, Libya, Morocco, Jordan, Algeria, Syria, Iraq Afghanistan and Pakistan.
As Ramadhan approaches, let me congratulate in advance all Muslims on the advent of this month of virtue and emancipation.
I pray to Almighty God for the establishment of peace, brotherhood and freedom in the region, and for our nations and countries to be free of the evil of religious fundamentalism and the velayat-e faqih regime ruling Iran.
Dear friends,
We are holding this meeting with tearful eyes and bleeding hearts because of the agony and pain endured by our people in Iran, Iraq, Syria, Yemen, Lebanon and the brother nation of Palestine that has been suffering for 70 years.
Today, the most vicious anti-Islamic crimes are committed in the name of Islam, which is a faith of compassion and deliverance: over three decades of daily atrocities and executions in Iran; 300,000 martyrs in Syria; millions of displaced people in Syria and Iraq; suppression of Yazidis and Christians; and the slaughter and ethnic cleansing of Sunnis in Iraq at the hands of the Iranian regime.

Dana, Rohrabacher
US Rep. Dana Rohrabacher, Chairman of the Subcommittee on Europe, Eurasia and Emerging Threats, says: 'Lovers of liberty, I salute you. I see a day coming when thugs riding motorcycle will not beat peaceful people up in streets in order to silent them in Iran. I see a day when no longer will women asking for their rights be thrown in the jail, beaten and raped and murdered. I see a day when elections will be held in Iran, and the mullahs won’t be choosing the candidates. I see a day when the people of Camp Liberty will be welcomed home in a free Iran as heroes. Today, it is my honor to join you, to remind the corrupt mullahs ruling Iran today that their day is coming, and it will come soon. I am here to join these brave people who struggle for liberty. ...  We in the U.S. Congress will not be satisfied with negotiations that leave in power brutal corrupt tyrants who hold power because of their hold on aggressive and fanatical beliefs.
