IRAN -Iran state TV broadcasts its fear of the PMOI (MEK)

NCRI – Following the largest-ever Iran Freedom gathering organized by the Iranian opposition in Paris on June 13, 2015, Iranian state media have constantly broadcast and published reports about the event. The common themes of the state media reports has been to offer a demonizing image of the main Iranian opposition group, the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK), and to discourage Iranians from supporting it. Regardless of the clerical regime’s spin in trying to dissuade the population in particular the youth to join the opposition, the impact of the organized resistance and is message is rather evident. In doing so, the regime is also showing its fear of the PMOI’s role in fomenting anti-regime sentiments among the people. Below are parts of the state media coverage in recent days.

IRAN - Iranian opposition official: US must adopt a stronger position toward Iranian regime

Mohammad Mohaddessin, Chair of the NCRI Foreign Affairs Committee

In an interview with Al-Tagheer television, chair of the NCRI foreign affairs committee said US must adopt a strong stance during nuclear negotiation
The English translation of the interview:
Anchor:
Mohammad Mohaddessin, Chairman of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI), has said Tehran agreed to come to the negotiating table out of fear of another public uprising in Iran. He reiterated that the Iranian regime must agree to all the conditions before a nuclear agreement is reached to lift sanctions.
Mohammad Mohaddessin: Ali Khamenei, the supreme leader of the regime, has agreed with the talks as a result of his fear of another massive public uprising. The Iranian regime needs nuclear weapons to stay in power. Khamenei is trying to keep his regime’s nuclear infrastructure intact.
In any final agreement all pathways of the Iranian regime to a nuclear bomb must be closed. This agreement should have five key elements: Ratification and implementation of the Additional Protocol Plus, unconditional and immediate access to all sites and nuclear scientists, disclosure of previous PMD activity, full cooperation with IAEA investigators and immediate removal of all enriched uranium from Iran. Without these five criteria being met, the lifting of sanctions would be irrelevant.

IRAN - US administration is bending over backward to get a nuclear deal inked with Iran; Jafrazadeh

Alireza Jafarzadeh of the NCRI appears on Newsmax TV
The US administration is bending over backward to get a nuclear arms deal inked with the Iranian regime and in doing so is dooming the chances of any truly meaningful agreement, Alireza Jafarzadeh, deputy director of the US Representative Office of the National Council of Resistance of Iran ( NCRI ), said in an interview with Newsmax TV.
'You’re dealing with a regime that is not a normal state,' Jafarzadeh said Thursday on 'The Steve Malzberg Show' on Newsmax TV.
'They’re the worst leading state sponsor of terror, they’re a major violator of human rights and they have been deceptive since Day One when they got engaged in their nuclear weapons program run by the Iranian revolutionary guards.'
'The approach [to negotiating] if it’s just constantly giving in, you’re going to be doomed to give even more, but if … you are dealing with them from the position of decisiveness and firmness, then you’ll see a change in the attitude of Tehran.'

IRAN - Don't be fooled by Iranian regime’s calculated negotiating tactics

Alireza Jafarzadeh
Without a "firm stance" by the international community against the Iranian regime’s calculated tactics in the nuclear negotiations, Tehran will continue to "deceive, distract, and distort" on its way to build an atomic bomb, Alireza Jafarzadeh, deputy director of the US representative office of the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI), has said.
"As the intense negotiations in Vienna inch closer to the new July 7th deadline, Tehran’s elusive tactics were put on display with Tehran’s Foreign Minister Javad Zarif releasing a Youtube video in which he claimed the regime had made enough compromises. To his credit, however, Secretary of State John Kerry was not impressed, insisting that the Iranian regime had to make 'hard choices' in the next couple of days, and 'quickly,' otherwise, 'we’ll be prepared to walk away,'" Jafarzadeh wrote in an opinion piece in FoxNews.com on Monday.
He pointed out that a recent report released by the opposition NCRI provides insights into how to read Tehran’s ongoing negotiating tactics, including the latest theatrics by Zarif. The 28-page analysis, relying on public and classified sources within Iran, reviews the Iranian regime’s behavior during two periods of talks (2003-2004 and 2013-2015) and discerns the principles of Tehran’s approach and tactics during negotiations to reach its objectives.

The Jordanian State Security Court will on Monday begin a military tribunal, headed by military judge Colonel Mohammad al-Afif, in the case of al-Rubaie who stands accused of being in possession of highly explosive materials and preparing for a terrorist operation in Jordan.
The Al-Rai daily quoted an informed source as saying that 45 kilograms of highly explosive substances was found in al-Rubaie’s possession at a house in the Saqreh Osfur district of Jarsh County.
