12 Executions, one week after the Iranian New Year

It has only been only one week since the Iranian New Year or Nowruz , but the mullahs’ ruling Iran have twice sent groups of prisoners to the gallows. 

The clerical regime which can only prolong its bloody rule in Iran by executions and intimidations to suppress any opposition or dissent in the country, didn’t wait until the New Year holidays finish and them wrap its bloody hands around the neck of the Iranian people. The clerical regime hanged 12 people in just one day, 5 in Mashhad and 7 in Shiraz on Thursday. 
The 7 prisoners were sent to the gallows at dawn on Thursday in Adel-Abad Shiraz. They had been transferred to the solitary Thursday of the week before and had spent a week in the solitary waiting for the sentence to be carried out. 
Due to the holidays in Iran, Iranian newspapers do not print, and so these executions have not been reported and it was carried out in total silence. 
The other 5 prisoners were hanged in the holy city of Mashhad, northern Iran on the same day making the total of 12 in just one day. The judiciary has not announced these executions either.

A Jordanian MP condemned in the strongest terms comments by Qassem Suleimani, the commander of the terrorist Quds force regarding Iran’s influence to foment sectarian violence and chaos in Jordan. Ms. Vafa Bani-Mostafa, MP, demanded an official apology from the Iranian regime. 
Qassem Suliemani on Tuesday March 24th spoke of Iran’s power to influence sectarian violence and instigate chaos in Jordan’s internal affairs. Qassem Suleimani had also said that Iran in present in Iraq, Syria, Lebanon and Yemen.

Iran is the greatest threat to U.S. national security than ISIS

Sen. Tom Cotton (R-Ark.) on Monday warned that a nuclear armed Iranian regime is the ’gravest threat’ to U.S. national security.
'The gravest threat to our national security is a nuclear-armed Iran, and this man, Ayatollah Khamenei,' Cotton said from the Senate floor.
The Arkansas Republican referred to a speech Ali Khamenei gave over the weekend in honor of Nowruz , the Persian New Year.
The crowd chanted 'death to America' as Khamenei spoke. 'What was his response to that chant? He said, ’Yes, certainly, death to America,’ ' Cotton said. ' ’Death to America.’ Remember this is the leader whom with the United States is negotiating today.'

Syria, Iraq conflicts send asylum-seeker numbers up 45%: UN

AFP - 26 March 20 15 - The number of asylum-seekers in industrialized countries rose by nearly half last year, driven by the devastating conflicts in Syria and Iraq, with Germany the top destination, the UN refugee agency said Thursday.

In 2014, some 866,000 people applied for asylum in such countries, marking a 45-percent jump from a year earlier and a 22-year high, the UN refugee agency said.

The surge is linked to the spiraling conflicts in Syria and Iraq, which have created 'the worst humanitarian crisis of our era,' spokeswoman Melissa Fleming told reporters.

Four Egyptian naval vessels have crossed the Suez Canal en route to Yemen to secure the Gulf of Aden, maritime sources at the Suez Canal said Thursday.

The sources said they expected the vessels to reach the Red Sea by Thursday evening.

DUBAI, March 26 (Reuters) - Saudi Arabia and allies launched air strikes in Yemen on Thursday to stop the advance of the Iran-allied Houthi militia towards President Abd-Rabbu Mansour Hadi’s southern refuge of Aden. 
Saudi Ambassador to Washington Adel al-Jubeir said a coalition of more than 10 countries had joined the military campaign to try to protect Hadi’s government, without naming the countries involved. 
The United Arab Emirates (UAE), Bahrain, Kuwait, and Qatar signed a joint statement with Saudi Arabia announcing the military action.

UK’s Cameron: Alternatives to Iran nuclear deal ’not attractive’

LONDON (Reuters) Mar 23, 2015 - The alternatives to striking a nuclear deal with Iran are not attractive, British Prime Minister David Cameron warned on Monday, while saying a pact with Tehran should not be reached at any price.

'Obviously we should not do a deal at any price, but I do think the alternatives to doing a deal are not alternatives that are attractive and frankly they are not attractive for Iran,' Cameron told the British parliament.

A dangerous water crisis looms over Iran

Iran’s reservoirs are only 40 percent complete according to official figures, and nine cities which includes the capital Tehran are threatened with water restrictions after dry winter.
Several major bodies of water in the region have all but dried up, including the Zayanderud River and Orumiyeh Lake.
Lake Orumiyeh, a close to 145-kilometre-long (90-mile), 48-kilometre wide salt lake close to Iran’s northwest border with Turkey, is just about empty.
In the city of Isfahan, an ancient jewel extended dubbed 'half the planet' for its wonderful palaces, boulevards, bridges and mosques, the Zayanderud river that runs via it is often bone dry.
