Iran claiming to set Iraq as its main satellite for creating "Persian Empire" is unacceptable: Dr. Ayad Allavi, vice president of Iraq

Iraq’s Vice President Iyad Allawi has told Sky News that Iran’s involvement in his country is unacceptable and is failing to push Islamic State fighters back.Mr Allawi said hewas very concerned about the Iranian regime’s increasing influence on theIranian-backed groups fighting the war against IS in Iraq.
He said: 'I think the role of any regional power or any power in Iraq’s affairs in unacceptable.'
'Doing what they are doing and sending officers to fight and to lead, and declaring that Baghdad is becoming the capital of the Persian empire, is unacceptable', he said.
Ali Younessi, Special Assistant to Hassan Rouhani , and former Minister of Intelligence and Security, said on March 8: “At present, not only Iraq is under the influence of our civilization, but it is our identity, culture, center and capital. This is the case today and has been the case in the past because the geography of Iran and Iraq is inseparable and our culture is inseparable. Thus, we either have to fight each other or become one.”

European Parliament demands stricter measures to end Iran’s nuclear program and human rights abuse

More than 100 European lawmakers have demanded that Iran’s widespread human rights violations - especially executions, the jailing of political prisoners and the repression of women - form a part of any negotiations with the regime.
The 106 European lawmakers also called for full implementation of all UN Security Council resolutions with regard to Iran’s Nuclear Program, and for snap inspections and continued sanctions against Iran.
MEP Gérard Deprez, Chair of Friends of a Free Iran in the European Parliament, said: 'Euro MPs are very concerned that the violation of human rights in Iran has been pushed to the side-lines because of the ongoing negotiations.
'We are concerned about Tehran deceiving the international community on its secret nuclear program as a new nuclear site, Lavizan 3, was revealed on 24 February by the opposition NCRI . We are fully convinced that Tehran has not yet decided to give up its nuclear ambitions.'
The European lawmakers also stressed in their joint statement: 'Iran keeps sidestepping abandoning its nuclear weapons program to impose its dominion over the region. Experience of 12 years indicates that the sole avenue to prevent a military confrontation is to ramp up pressure on Iran and impose biting sanctions.

WASHINGTON - March 22, 2015– CIA Director John Brennan said Sunday despite the outcome of nuclear talks with Iran, the U.S. will “continue to keep pressure” on the country and learn from its past mistakes.

“The nuclear program is one issue that we’re hoping to be able to halt; but also, we see that Iran is still a state sponsor of terrorism,” Brennan said during an exclusive interview on “Fox News Sunday.”

“And so what we have to do, whether there’s a deal or not, is continue to keep pressure on Iran and to make sure that it is not able to continue to destabilize a number of the countries in the region.”

Ahwaz: Scores of soccer fans protesting Iran regime were arrested

Scores of soccer fans who protested against the clerical regime werearrested

A large group of residents of southern Iranian city of Ahwaz who protested against the clerical regime during a soccer match were arrested on Tuesday

The spectators attending soccer match between Foulad of Khuzestan and Al-Halal of Saudi Arabia expressed their rage and loath against regime’s repressive measures, especially the repression against the people of Khuzestan.

People of Ahwaz were carrying signs in sympathy to a man who immolated himself in protest to the regime’s repressive measures. The signs read: “We are all Younes”.

Younes Asakereh, a 31-year-old street vender and father of two children is in critical condition subsequent to setting himself on fire on March 13 after numerous attacks by repressive state security forces who prevented him from earning a living.

US slams Iran on treatment of religious minorities

US criticizes Iran for its reatment of religious minorities

The Hill - The United States Commission on International Religious Freedom(USCIRF) on Wednesday criticized Iran for its increasingly poor treatment ofits religious minorities.

“Since assuming office in 2013, Iranian President Hassan Rouhani has not delivered on his promises to improve conditions for religious minority communities,” USCIRF Chair Katrina Lantos Swett said in a statement.

“In fact, the Iranian government has imprisoned more than 350 people, including 150 Sunni Muslims, 100 Baha’is, 90 Christians and at least a dozen Sufi Muslims, for their beliefs.”

USCIRF’s scathing remarks hit Tehran prior to its appearance Thursday before the United Nations Human Rights Council (UNHRC). Iran will announce which, if any, of the UNHRC’s recommendations it will follow for improving its human rights.

Mrs. Maryam Rajavi , the Iranian Resistance’s President-elect, strongly condemns the brutal and repulsive terrorist attacks on Bardo Museum and expresses the deepest sympathies of the Iranian people and the Resistance with the people and President of Tunisia.
She stressed that those who planned this atrocity are taking revenge on the Tunisian people for their resolute rejection of fundamentalism and extremism under the veneer of Islam. She added that slaughter of innocent civilians of any nationality on whatever pretext is a crime against humanity and even more unacceptable when committed in the name of Islam, a religion of compassion and emancipation.
Mrs. Rajavi emphasized that terrorism and fundamentalism turned into a pressing global threat when the religious dictatorship came to power in Iran.

17 coal miners of Koushk, Bafgh were fired by the mullah’s anti-labor regime only 2 days after the last round of workers protests. These workers were dismissed a month ago for their active participation in the protest, but were returned back to work after 400 workers protested their dismissal.

World powers, Iran face make-or-break nuke talks next week

Lausanne, Switzerland (AP) Mar. 20, 2015 - The United States and Iran broke off nuclear negotiations ahead of schedule Friday, setting up make-or-break talks next week for a deal providing long-term assurance to the world that the Iranians cannot develop nuclear weapons. The sides were close to an agreement, a top Russian official said.

The session in the Swiss city of Lausanne was interrupted on its sixth day so members of the Iranian delegation could attend the funeral of their president`s mother. Those departing included Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif, the main negotiating partner of U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry, and Hossein Fereydoon, a brother of Hassan Rouhani . Diplomats didn’t promise a breakthrough this week, but strove to make as much progress as possible with a March 31 deadline for a framework accord looming.
