Bazar shop owners rejecting mandatory closure for Friday prayers

Shop keepers in Kashan refused to obey mandatory closure for Friday prayers
A number of security agents in Kashan, central Iran, raided the traditional Bazaar, located in the area between Baba Afzal Street and Darvazeh Doulat ordering the shop owners to close their shops for Friday prayers. They ordered shop owners to leave the bazar and go to the mosque to attend the Friday prayer. But the shop keepers protested and refused to obey their orders and told agents: this bazaar is no place for military government and we decide when we open and when we close…
They also threated the suppressive guards to close the entire bazar and go on strike if the security guard harassed them anymore …

German Parliamentary Delegations and Political dignitaries meet Maryam Rajavi in Berlin

The President-elect of the Iranian Resistance, Mrs. Maryam Rajavi , met a number of delegations from the German Parliament (Bundestag) in addition to other political personalities during a trip to Berlin last week.
During the first of a series of such meetings, which took place on Thursday, March 5, Mrs. Rajavi met with the following dignitaries: former President of the Bundestag and Germany’s first-ever female minister, Professor Rita Süssmuth, Ms. Katharina Landgraf, parliamentarian from the Christian Democrat party and Deputy Chair of the Christian Democrat Women’s Group in the Bundestag, Ms. Sylvia Pantel, a Christian Democrat member of the Bundestag, Ms. Rita Pawelski, Chairwoman of the Society of Former Bundestag Members, and Ms. Hille Gosejacob, Honorary Chair of Social Workers’ Syndicate and Chair of the German Committee in Solidarity for a Free Iran.

US Senators condemn Iran imprisoning Pastor Abedini

U.S. Senators at a subcommittee hearing have been told that high-level U.S. attention to Iran’s imprisonment of American Pastor Saeed Abedini is helping to keep him alive, The Associated Press reported.
Abedini has been in custody in Iran since September 2012 and was sentenced to eight years in prison for what was termed undermining state security.

On Thursday 12 March, Dr Alejo Vidal-Quadras, President of the International Committee in Search of Justice (ISJ) and former Vice-President of European Parliament (1999-2014) was the key-note speaker in a conference held at Palais de Nations, the UN Headquarters in Geneva, on the deteriorating situation of human rights in Iran.
In his speech, Vidal-Quadras said: “Iran, under the so called moderate Rouhani, has executed many more prisoners than Ahmadinejad during the same period. In fact, it is number one in the world for the highest number of executions per capita with 1300 or 1400 executions during Rouhani’s term.”

Persecution of Christians in Iran is worse under Hassan Rouhani and many now face 'severe physical and psychological torture,' a new report from a group of British MPs and peers says.
A joint investigation by Christians in Parliament and All Party Parliamentary Group (APPG) on International Freedom of Religion or Belief found that Christians continue to be arrested and interrogated because of their faith.
According to the report, “Christians continue to be arbitrarily arrested and interrogated because of their faith-related activities.”

The Future of Iran Khodrow employees, who went on strike in February for 5 days, is still uncertain. The Iranian regime authorities were supposed to provide a job classification plan during this time, but the pledges were just words on paper. And the employees have only received the minimum wage which is under the poverty line. Therefor there is no pay for New Year bonus, nor any pays for experience and background, or for tough job conditions.  

Iran: Gohardasht prisoners’ statement on nuclear talks

Some two dozen political prisoners in Gohardasht prison, west of Tehran have said in a statement leaked from the prison that any nuclear deal with Iran is worthless in the eyes of the Iranian people.
The statement says: 'The nuclear pother between the agents of the anti-democratic and repressive Iranian regime and western governments has heightened. US led western governments are trying to come up with what they want to believe as a 'good' deal with the anti-human regime ruling Iran in order to secure their interests in the region and leave Iran satisfied.
